Privacy
Nijuyoji Bookstore is a small, free bookshop site. There are no accounts and no sign-in. The shop does not ask for or collect your name, email address or any other personal details, and it sets no cookies.

What stays on your device
Books you save with “☆ Save”, and the “Don't count visits from this device” setting, are kept only in this browser on this device (in localStorage). They are never sent to the shop or anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Fonts and covers
The fonts are served from this site. The shop does not use Google Fonts or any other outside font service.
Book covers are shown directly from Open Library and Google Books; this shop does not store them. When a page shows a cover, your browser connects to the service that hosts it, as with any image on the web. The shop asks your browser not to tell them which page you were on.
Visitor counts
The shop does not count visitors right now. No analytics script runs on these pages. If that changes, this page will say so first.
Leaving the shop
“View on Amazon” takes you to Amazon.com. From there, Amazon's privacy notice applies, and Amazon uses cookies. “Read a sample” opens Project Gutenberg or Google Books, whose own privacy policies apply.
For AI tools
The AI entrance (/mcp) and the files for AI (llms.txt and the data under /ai/) only return book information. The shop does not store what is sent to them. If uses are counted, only the tool name and the name of a known crawler (such as GPTBot or ClaudeBot) are kept — never IP addresses or messages.
Contact
The shop has no contact address at the moment. When there is one, it will be listed here.
