## About this book

A poet publishes a short poem about a hunter glimpsed on a mountain path, and soon the hunter, Misugi, sends him three letters he has kept. They come from his lover's daughter, from his wife, and from his lover herself. Each woman sees the same long affair from her own side, and each reveals something the others could not. What stays is the sense that no one person ever holds the whole story.
