## Card

A couple in a rented cottage in Tokyo are visited, day after day, by a neighbor's small cat.
The prose moves slowly and precisely, noticing light, garden plants, and every small habit of the cat.
For a night with the window cracked open.

## About this book

A husband and wife in their thirties, both working from home with words, live quietly in a small rented cottage on the grounds of an old estate. One day a neighbor's cat, Chibi, slips into their kitchen, and soon she is visiting every day. She is not theirs, yet their days begin to turn around her. What stays is a careful, unhurried attention to small joys in ordinary rooms.
